My client is a part of a global manufacturing business which has several sites across the UK. Due to growth and recent acquisitions out client is now looking to recruit a Project Engineer to join their Projects division. Reporting into the Engineering lead, you play a pivotal role in delivering on a number of improvement and expansion projects. This role will be based nr Ross on wye however some travel to other sites will occasionally be required. Please note this a site based role.
As an experienced Engineer, you will be managing a number of exciting projects including the ongoing development and improvement of a new facility.
Responsibilities will include:-
- Overseeing site projects
- Site Project Management of all Capex Projects
- Contractor Management ensuring Health & Safety procedures are in line with company policies
- Sourcing cost-effective solutions & working with OEM’s/Suppliers for best return on investment
- Completion of snag lists, site handover protocols and updating site folders.
- Effective planning, co-ordination, and communication with site departments across all sites
